Head 4 Leadership’s Mission: To increase leadership resilience, courage and compassion
Leadership, in a work sense, came out of the blue when I was just 20. I said to my partner at the time that I wanted to do something for myself work-wise. He came back a few weeks later and handed me the keys to a car stereo shop, including the staff. It later turned out that those workers hadn’t known the business had even been sold!!!
I made a fair few mistakes running that business. What I learnt and what I keep to this day, is that your reaction to challenges impacts the quality of your thinking and decision making.
With this in mind, Head 4 Leadership services give you a safe space, time and support to think clearly, learn and make the changes that matter to you.
After the car stereo shop came other small businesses, then onto bigger ones, including our national airline! I have led people, held global responsibility and continue now with Head4Leadership to push for my passion of leadership that is both courageous and compassionate.
Leadership and Neuroscience Coach
Neural plasticity can only grow with learning – new experiences, relationships and when new ways are tried and tested!
My neuroscience studies with the Neuroscience Academy, give a whole new depth to your understanding of your self and your teams. Understanding how your own thought processes have developed based on past experience, you can shift them. It’s possible with tools, emotional management and practice to think and act differently in response to the daunting situations you can and will face in a leadership role. These may be an appraisal, public speaking, a strategy change or a difficult work relationship for example.
You may be one of the many that has the responsibility of leading, with out having received any or much management and leadership training. As a result, you can naturally feel tense and overwhelmed, which can also impacts negatively on your team’s performance, growth and fulfilment. Not to mention your reputation!
Coaching allows you to observe where you are now, how you think, feel and do things today. Identifying where you want to be. Helping you to make conscious and practical changes; shifting positivity your confidence and resilience to future challenges.
Head 4 Leadership take this work seriously, that also means bringing a sense of creativity and fun to the learning process. In return you to be ready to apply yourself and have an open mind to practice different approaches.
